Bearcats Make History

For the first time in their school’s history the women’s basketball team at CBC will play in the PACWEST post season.

The Bearcats are seeded fifth after a 5-13 record. Of all the six teams, they have scored the fewest points (992) but are ranked fourth in defence.

They will open the tournament on Thursday night when they face the Camosun Chargers, a team they just played in their regular season finale. They split the weekend beating the Chargers for the first time in school history.
