Female Basketball Athlete of the Week
Chloe Scaber – VIU Mariners
Chloe Scaber came off the bench this weekend leading the Mariners to a pair of wins leading her club in scoring this weekend with 17 and 16 points. In 43 minutes of gameplay her impact was felt on both ends of the floor. Her total of 33 points and 12 rebounds helped the team Mariners squad stay undefeated.
Male Basketball Athlete of the Week
Noah Helman – Camosun Chargers
In a crucial set of road games, Noah was spectacular. First off on Friday he contributed a double-double to the victory with 11 points and 11 rebounds on 63% shooting. He followed up on Saturday with another sensational performance pouring in 20 points on 82% shooting, six rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
