Saturday night the Coyotes picked up a huge 91-79 victory over the Bearcats to inch ahead of them in the race for the final playoff spot. They shot 46% from the field as Omon Edobar dropped a game high 32-points and grabbed eight rebounds while Seth Blundell added 18 points. The victory gives the Coyotes a two-point lead over the Bearcats for sixth place with the seasonal series rubber match coming up today. The game is also the regular season finale for the Bearcats, who need to win to keep pace.
Speaking of the Bearcats they shot 45% from the field as David Mutabazi connected for 20 points as did Clive Adams coming off the bench. If the Bearcats can claim a win, they would win the seasonal series and therefore hold the tiebreaker if the teams end up tied after the regular season. The Coyotes still have two games next weekend when they host the Douglas Royals.
