Second-year libero Jordy Exner, the conference leader in digs per set heading into Week 12, kept her defensive heroics going in two wins over a Douglas Royals team fighting for their playoff lives. In Friday’s four-set victory, she tallied an incredible 33 digs and passed 2.17. Then for Saturday’s rematch, she added another 17 digs while helping the Mariners consistently transition the Royals’ serving game into offensive opportunities for the Mariners by passing an excellent 2.42.
