Abi Betker – Capilano Blues
Facing her former team from COTR, Betker turned in her best weekend in Blues colours as she totaled 23 kills and showed extremely well on serve receive, repeatedly getting the Blues in system on first touch. In Friday’s five-set affair, the Kimberley, BC product matched a season high with 12 kills but was also brilliant defensively with 11 digs and a flawless night on serve receive. Coming back Saturday, the 5-foot-11 outside hitter collected 11 kills and chalked up four aces while adding eight digs. For the weekend, her 23 kills came alongside five aces, 19 digs and three blocks.
