Mariners Sweep Avalanche...Again

For the second straight night the Mariners blow past the Avalanche

For the second straight night the Mariners made quick work of the visiting Avalanche to win their 13th straight and 10th courtesy of a three-set sweep.

Prior to the match, the Mariners honoured their seniors and longtime assistant coach before recording set wins of 25-15, 25-17 and 25.14.  Both their offence and defence didn’t give the Avalanche much to work with.

Next weekend the Mariners (15-1) visit the Douglas Royals (5-11) and play their final four on the road.  The Avalanche (4-12) meanwhile are only halfway through their weekend and now head to Victoria to meet the Camosun Chargers (8-8) on Saturday and Sunday.
