Week 8 of the women’s volleyball season wrapped up on Saturday with three matches.

The Chargers earned a weekend sweep with set wins of 25-20, 25-16 and 25-18.

VIU Mariners 3
Capilano Blues 0

The top team in the nation, the VIU Mariners earned their ninth clean sheet of the season beating the Blues by scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-12.

Douglas Royals 3
CBC Bearcats 0

For the second straight night the Royals defeated the Bearcats.  The sweep on Saturday is their eighth victory of the campaign.
