Jade Dillabough – VIU Mariners

It’s been a magical run this season for Jade Dillabough helping her VIU Mariners in finishing at the top of the PACWEST standings following the regular season and earning a bye into the gold medal game.

In the Conference championship game Dillabough she continued her hot play and scored the only goal of the gold medal game using her left foot to get it past the keeper, giving her club a 1-0 victory.   The third year forward was a constant threat in the title game and did generate another glorious opportunity that she just barely missed.

She was named the tournament MVP and Top Forward.

She and the Mariners are off to the CCAA nationals in a couple of weeks hosted by Capilano.
