Kaiden Thorpe – VIU Mariners

A massive matchup between the top two teams in the PACWEST went the way of the VIU Mariners thanks to goalkeeper Kaiden Thorpe earning two shutouts against the CCAA’s #5 ranked team from Douglas College.  With the Mariners scoring only one goal in each game, Thorpe had no margins for error. She made four saves on Saturday and six saves on Sunday in the face of considerable Douglas pressure.
