Anna Klaver-Valdez – Douglas Royals

Anna’s continued success from last season — one where she was named Co-Rookie of the Year — was evident in this weekend’s PACWEST opening games. Her grit and work rate in the attacking area resulted in her scoring both goals for the Royals on Saturday in a 2-0 win over the Capilano Blues. She had another strong performance on Sunday, being a constant attacking force for the Royals in a 2-1 win. She was able to get past players on the dribble and use her pace to give the opposition defenders difficulties over the entire weekend.
