Week 3 Women's Preview

A full slate of games is ready to kickoff this weekend with all four PACWEST soccer schools set for back-to-back games.

SATURDAY SEPTMEBER 21           

VIU Mariners @ Capilano Blues – Saturday September 21, 1:00pm | WATCH HERE

Six days ago, they played to a 2-2 draw, and will face each other again on Saturday.   Back on Sunday, the Mariners book ended the scoring to secure the tie after watching the Blues score just before halftime, and right out of the gate in the second half.

The Mariners have a four-point lead over the Blues in the standings and play their third straight road game, while the Blues are at home for the second consecutive game.

Langara Falcons @ Douglas Royals – Saturday September 21, 1:00pm | WATCH HERE

Last Sunday the Royals blasted the Falcons 5-0 in their first meeting of the season and will look for some more success on Saturday when these two meet again at Douglas.  Isabelle Dobbin will look to build upon her hattrick last game while the Falcons scheme to try and beat keeper Vanessa Chung.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 22

VIU Mariners @ Langara Falcons – Sunday September 22, 12:00pm | WATCH HERE

They met for the first time since opening the season on the island which saw the Mariners outscore the Falcons 7-1.  Both teams are coming off a hard-fought battle on Saturday.

Douglas Royals @ Capilano Blues – Sunday September 22, 12:00pm | WATCH HERE

They met to open the season two weeks ago with the Royals earning the weekend sweep outscoring the Blues 4-1.  Anna Klaver-Valdez scored two of the Royals weekend goals, but both in the first game of the year.
