PACWEST Best in Class - Alanah Dulong

Fourth year student athlete Alanah Dulong of the Capilano Blues women’s soccer team spent last year missing games like the rest of the PACWEST. She took the opportunity put more focus on her studies and it certainly paid off. She received a PACWEST Academic Excellence Award, the CapU Blues Scholar Athlete of Distinction and was named the CapU Scholar Athlete of the Year.

After losing a year on the pitch, Dulong is now in her fourth year of the Business Administration program at Capilano and is no stranger to doing well in the classroom. She has been honoured with several academic awards since starting at Capilano including being named a CCAA National Scholar and CCAA Academic All-Canadian in 2019-2020.

She is highlighted in the PACWEST’s Best in Class, a feature focused on the student athletes across the Conference that are leaving their mark on athletics and academics.
