It’s been almost 11 months since the Douglas Royals women’s soccer team played in a PACWEST game and they are itching to get back on the pitch.
Last October the Royals fell in the sudden death playoff semi-final ending their season and hopes of a national gold medal after a 6-3-3 regular season.
They began their off season winter work-outs like any other year until March when the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown training across the globe. Since then players and coaches alike have been trying to stay in touch and work-out whenever Dr. Bonnie Henry gives the green light.
