PACWEST At Home - Martina Pettenon
Fourth year veteran Martina Pettenon tells us what she's been doing while at home
September 2, 2020
In the fall of 2019 the Douglas Royals women’s soccer team finished with a 6-3-3 record and was the second seed heading into the PACWEST Championship tournament.
In the sudden death playoff semi-final, the Royals were beaten by the third seeded Capilano Blues in penalty kicks which ended their season. Fast forward one year and the Royals, like the rest of the PACWEST, won’t be able to get on the pitch this fall due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Fourth year veteran Martina Pettenon has been stranded at home like most of the world during the pandemic. She talks with Ryan Watters in this installment of PACWEST At Home to discuss missing the 2020 campaign and what she’s been doing to pass the time.
