Heading into the weekend the CBC Bearcats women’s team had a pair of important games to help them keep pace in the standings as they traveled to Capilano to meet the Blues and came away with a sweep. Guard Kagari Tomita had her best games of the season collecting 23 points on Friday along with five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. She followed up her strong performance with another massive game on Saturday where she had 32 points, six rebounds, six assists and five steals! In all, she shot 48% from the field, 56% from the three-point line and dropped 55 points, had 11 rebounds and 11 assists in the two road wins.
