Barcha Hnizdilova – Capilano Blues

The 5-foot-11 international from Czechia was a force on the boards and a defensive disrupter around the rim, helping the Blues to a weekend sweep on the road at Camosun. In Friday’s opener, Hnizdilova pulled down 15 rebounds while rejecting three Camosun shots and handing out three assists. She was even better in the Saturday rematch as she registered 16 boards, five blocks, five assists and two steals. For the weekend, she filled the score sheet to the tune of 19 points, 31 rebounds, eight blocks, eight assists and three steals.
