Harriette Mackenzie – VIU Mariners

Fourth year forward Harriette Mackenzie took care of business on both sides of the ball as the Mariners earned two solid road wins at Capilano. In Friday’s win, she just missed a double-double, earning team-highs in points (15) and rebounds (8). She shot 59% from the field, 83% from the free throw line, and added two steals on the night. Then on Saturday, she tallied a game-high 17 points on 6 for 7 shooting and was a perfect 5 for 5 from the free throw line—all in 18 minutes. She added six rebounds and an assist as the Mariners locked down the Blues offense and earned win number nine on the season.
