Best in Class: Taya Karsten

Entering her last season with the Camosun Chargers both on and off the court

Taya Karsten of the women’s basketball team at Camosun is a PACWEST Best in Class.

Last season for the Chargers she primarily came off the bench but did play in 23 of their 24 games.  She averaged over 12 minutes of court time and scored three points a game while shooting 25% from the field.

In the classroom she is going into her final year at the college and is enrolled in the Kinesiology program.

She talks with Ryan Watters about being a student athlete.
