Second year point guard from the VIU Mariners; Amber Lease is under the PACWEST Spotlight

American Amber Lease of the VIU Mariners women’s basketball team is now in her second season on Vancouver Island and continues to be a stand out.
Last season she led the Mariners to a PACWEST title and a berth in the CCAA national championship tournament after being named an All-Canadian.
This year she has the Mariners undefeated at the semester break averaging 10.4 points a game and 3.2 assists each time she’s on the floor. She is looking forward to getting back on the floor after the holidays and pushing towards another title. She and the Mariners already know they will play for the national title as the hosts of the CCAA tournament in March.
