The Blues, Mariners and Royals get a "W" on Saturday

The Mariners exploded and outscored the Coyotes 28-10 in the first quarter to set the tone. Their offence finished the game shooting 39% from the field as all but two players on the roster had at least one basket. Shayce Johnston led the way with 18 points and Madeline Hart came off the bench for 11 points.
The Coyotes shot 34% from the field led by Megan Admussen-Blair who dropped a game high 21 points including five-three pointers and did grab 10 rebounds. Sapna Deo chipped in with 19 points hitting four-three pointers.
Friday night the Mariners (2-0) will visit the Capilano Blues (2-0) while the Coyotes (0-2) visit the CBC Bearcats (0-2).

The Blues scored a dominating road win over the Falcons dropping 31 points in the third quarter. They would shoot 36% from the field and five players hit the double-digit mark. Sherrie Errico led the charge with 16 points and Reiko Ohama and Alessia Brutto each had 14. Brutto completed the double-double with 13 rebounds.
The Falcons offence was led by Breanne Homeniuk and her 17 points off the bench. Ainsliegh Mensah scored 11 leading all Falcons’ starters.
On Friday the Blues (2-0) will face the other undefeated team in the VIU Mariners (2-0) while the Falcons (1-1) meet the CBC Bearcats (0-2) on Thursday night in Abbotsford.

The Royals shot 31.8% from the field led by the 10 points from both Rachel Beauchamp and Cassandra Brinn. Beauchamp tallied a double-double as she pulled down 13 rebounds.
The Bearcats offence shot 24% from the field as Harvina Kaler had a game high 18 points.
The Royals (1-1) will host the Camosun Chargers (1-1) on Friday night while the Bearcats (0-2) welcome the Langara Falcons (1-1) on Thursday.
