The Mariners outscored the Royals 21-12 in the second quarter and just hung on for a one-point road victory. Kaitlyn LaFontaine led her club with 15 points while Juliet King tallied 11. Emily Clarke was simply awesome on the boards pulling down 13 rebounds. As a team the Mariners shot 36% from the field. 41 of their 66 points scored came courtesy of their bench.
The Royals on the other hand scored 18 points in the final frame but fell just short of a weekend sweep. They shot 31% from the field led by Rachel Beauchamp’s 21 points and 10 rebounds. Nanaya Miki added 12 and Simran Bir chipped in with 11 points off the bench.

The Blues defence held the Chargers to just 28% from the field, forced 13 turnovers and made eight steals.
Offensively they shot 36% from the field led by Carmelle M’Bikata’s game high 18 points and 15 rebounds. Zuzia Zdziechowski was very solid with 11 points and 11 boards, six of which were on the offensive glass.
The Chargers offence saw five players reach double-digits but it wasn’t enough. Ella Goldschmid led her club with 13 points while Kathryn Candell hit two-three points and tallied 11 points.

The Beacats complete the sweep with a strong second half. They shot 34% from the field led by Anna Kamerman’s 22 points and 12 rebounds coming off the bench. Sarah Rozendal also had a solid road effort with 13 points and nine boards.
The Kermodes offence struggled shooting 28% from the field led by Kyra Boulding’s 13 points.
