Owen Dyck – VIU Mariners

The Mariners fourth year setter, Owen Dyck, continued his outstanding play since his return to the PACWEST after suffering a life-threatening injury in the 2024 off-season. He made the most of Week 11 against the PACWEST and CCAA’s #1 ranked College of the Rockies Avalanche, leading the Mariners offensive attack with excellent balance and was the core of VIU’s defense.  He had an incredible 97 setting assists over 10 hard fought sets. He also contributed with 15 total offensive points with six kills, four blocks, five aces and 27 digs against the Avalanche.
