Diego Policarpo – COTR Avalanche

Diego is in the midst of one of the most memorable seasons in COTR volleyball history and added another spectacular weekend to his list of performances. On Friday night in a battle of the top two teams he had a preposterous 32 points (26 kills, four aces and two blocks) along with three digs over four sets as the Avs knocked off the Camosun Chargers. His 26 kills came on just 36 attempts at a blistering 58% efficiency. Then on Saturday in another dominant performance Diego accumulated another 23 kills and had a block in a three-set victory as the Avalanche improved their record to 8-0. This is the second time he has been named the Conference Athlete of the Week.
