Men's Week 10 Volleyball

There are important points in the standings up for grabs for both the Royals and Bearcats as these schools open Week 10 of the regular season on Friday night.

The Royals (7-7) are currently in a third-place tie with the Camosun Chargers and only four points back of the second place and idle VIU Mariners.  They have won four in a row since the calendar turned and will look to continue their winning ways before enjoying a bye week.

For the Bearcats (3-11) they currently sit on the outside looking in at the playoffs, eight points back of the final spot.  They have lost four straight to open 2025 and will try to reflect on their weekend split with the Royals at the beginning of the season to snap their losing skid.

Saturday night at 7:00pm, these two schools will meet for the final time this season.

Camosun Chargers @ Capilano Blues – Friday January 24, 8:00pm | WATCH HERE

It feels like this is a must win for the slumping Chargers (7-7) as they visit the last place Blues for a weekend doubleheader.  They have lost six straight and are currently tied with the Dougals Royals for third place in the standings.   They swept the Blues at the beginning of the year dropping just one set and are hoping for some of that mojo this weekend to snap their skid.  

The Blues (2-12) are 10-points back of the Chargers and Royals for the final playoff spot and are looking to play spoiler.  Like the Chargers, they have also lost six straight but find themselves at home for the reminder of the season and are looking to put together a run down the stretch to make things interesting in the standings.

These two schools meet for the final time this season at 3:00pm on Saturday.
