Veteran setter Owen Dyck is back after an injury this past summer

Fourth year setter Owen Dyck of the VIU Mariners was noticeably absent during the first half of the PACWEST men’s volleyball season.
He suffered a significant injury this past summer while working on a job site in his hometown of Winnipeg. He shares what happened with Ryan Watters of the PACWEST and the steps to finally returning to action. His first start of the season came last weekend at home against the Mariners island rivals, the Camosun Chargers.
It’s an incredible story of determination. Owen and the Mariners are on the road this weekend when they travel to face the CBC Bearcats on Friday and Saturday.
