PACWEST Best in Class - Kamrin Loitz
A first year outside hitter with the COTR Avalanche enrolled in the kinesiology program
The COTR Avalanche added some power to their outside attack heading into the PACWEST season. They brought in Kamrin Loitz from Leduc, Alberta who was attending classes at MacEwan University in Edmonton last year. Unfortunately due to the pandemic Loitz wasn’t able to show off his talents on the floor.
While not playing any matches during the 2020-2021 season it has given Loitz the opportunity to get accustomed to his new surroundings, school and teammates. It has also allowed him to focus on his classes, now in his second year of studies and enrolled in the Kinesiology program. He has loaded up with classes this year, knowing next year will be a bit trickier with practices, matches and travel.
He is highlighted in the PACWEST’s Best in Class, a feature focused on the student athletes across the Conference that are leaving their mark on athletics and academics.
