Where Are They Now Wednesday: Walkingbear
He was dominating force for the Camosun Chargers for two seasons, winning a pair of titles.
For two successful seasons Savana Walkingbear helped the Camosun Chargers to back-to-back PACWEST championship titles and a pair of berths in the CCAA national tournament during 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 campaigns.
He was simply a powerhouse collecting 486 kills in just two seasons while being named to the PACWEST All-Star team both years.
In the two seasons Walkingbear and the Chargers won PACWEST gold, they finished in fifth place at the national championship which was hosted at Douglas College and Fanshawe College respectively. Despite not winning a medal the experience was a memorable one.
Since graduating from Camosun, Walkingbear has had several opportunities in not only volleyball, but in a leadership role as well. He discusses that with Ryan Watters as we find out where he is now.
