Where Are They Now Wednesday: Stockton
Curtis Stockton played for the COTR Avalanche from 2012-2015 and now plays in Japan
The PACWEST has seen thousands of student athletes graduate from our member institutions.
Their chosen path has taken them to many parts of the country following graduation and sometimes around the world.
Curtis Stockton played three seasons for the COTR Avalanche men’s volleyball team from 2012-2015. He was a standout in the PACWEST and was named the Player of the Year for the 2013-2014 season after leading the Conference with an incredible 402 kills, to complement his 43 aces and 53 blocks. His performance helped the Avalanche to a PACWEST bronze that season. As a matter of fact his 946 career kills still is fourth most in PACWEST history.
Following his college career Stockton, an Australian, attended the University of Calgary before getting selected to the Australian senior men’s national team. Once leaving the Dinos program in Calgary he signed a professional contract that has taken him to Estonia, France and now Japan.
He catches up with Ryan Watters from Japan in this installment of Where Are They Now Wednesday.
