Best In Class: Vitor Macedo
The leader of the Camosun Chargers men's volleyball team and recent graduate
He was the leader of the two-time Provincial champion Camosun Chargers. Vitor Macedo has graduated but left his mark on the Chargers and will be missed next season.
In 2015-2016 Macedo played every set as the quarterback of the Chargers offence as everything seemingly ran through him. He collected 41 kills and eight aces, but it was his passing and setting ability that made him special.
Defensively his 161 digs was impressive for a setter and did tally 12 blocks.
He not only excels on the court, but in the classroom as well as a recent graduate of the Sports & Fitness program. He is highlighted in the PACWEST's Best In Class, a feature focused on the student athletes across the Conference that are leaving their mark on athletics and academics.
