Chargers down Blues in Three
Both the travelling Blues and the hometown Chargers were coming off back to back weekend loses Jan. 22-23. With the Blues falling to the Mariners and the Chargers falling to the Royals, both teams were eager to get back on the court.
Friday night in Victoria, the Chargers handed the struggling Blue their ninth straight loss this season. With the Chargers clearly looking to wright their ship after their loss to the Royals, Camosun came out with purpose on their game. The heavily favoured Camosun team convincingly too the match in three straight sets.
Top performers on the night for Camosun were Savana Walkingbear (13 kills,1 block, 1 ace, 6 digs), Isaac Dellabough (7 kills, 2 blocks, 2 aces, 3 digs), Rian Plante (9 kills, 1 block, 11 digs) and Tyler Remenda (4 kills, 2 blocks, 13 digs).
The Blues were lead by Brendan Cairns (11 kills, 2 aces, 6 digs), John De la Cruz (6 kills, 1 block, 5 digs) and Matthew Graham (11 digs)
Both teams return to the court Saturday afternoon.
