Langara Falcons secured a dominant 3-1 victory over the UKC Blue Devils in the final match of Day 3 at the CCAA Championship, with key contributions from Felipe Silva and the CCAA Player of the Year.
The game kicked off with a tight first half, but Langara took control in the 29th minute when Felipe Silva scored to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead. Despite pressure from both teams, the scoreline remained unchanged through the first half.
Coming out strong in the second half, the CCAA Player of the Year Takeru Kaku doubled the lead in the 50th minute, making it 2-0. Just minutes later, Langara struck again, pushing their advantage to 3-0, putting the match almost out of reach for UKC.
Blue Devils showed signs of life in the 57th minute when they managed to pull one back, with a goal that cut the deficit to 3-1. But their hopes were quickly dashed when they received a red card, leaving them a player short for the rest of the match. The Falcons capitalized on the advantage, maintaining their composure to seal a comfortable 3-1 victory.
Langara's solid second-half performance and the red card proved pivotal in their triumph, securing them the win and a strong position in the tournament. The 4imprint Playerx of the Game were Takeru Kaku for the Falcons and Jai Cunsolo for UKC.
