Royals Prepare Title Defence

The Douglas Royals men’s soccer team are the defending CCAA national champions and are set to open the new PACWEST season the weekend of September 7-8 with a home-and-home with the Capilano Blues.

Last year’s national title was their first since 2005 and the first PACWEST team to win since the 2017 season.

The Royals should return a good core group of players but as head coach Robby Toor says, there has been roster turnover, so recruiting has been very important for this season and beyond.  He takes a few minutes to discuss with Ryan Watters.
