Second year mid-fielder Quinn Desaulniers of the Douglas Royals played in 10 of their 12 games in the regular season during 2019.
The Charles Best graduate helped the Royals to a PACWEST gold medal and a berth in the CCAA national championship. Though they didn’t medal at the nationals, the returning Royal players gain valuable experience on the national stage and are hungry to get back when play resumes.
Like all PACWEST soccer student athletes Desaulniers is hopeful the postponed season will see new life in the spring. Until then he’s at home completing online classes and as he tells Ryan Watters, he’s getting on the pitch whenever and wherever he can.
