A Brand New Day
Adam Day is the new head coach of the Capilano Blues men's soccer team and talks pandemic
It hasn’t been the start of his PACWEST coaching career that he thought it would be. Adam Day the new head coach of the Capilano Blues men’s soccer team was brought aboard in January and since then life has been anything but “planned.”
Over the course of that month, he met with his assistant coaches and started to develop a strategy for the rest of the winter heading into the spring season. However all that changed in March and now Adam has had to meet his players over Zoom meetings and find creative ways to connect with the team he inherited.
The PACWEST made the difficult decision to cancel the fall soccer season which would have just begun. Like the rest of the teams, coaches and athletes across the Conference, Adam has been at home until recently and talks with Ryan Watters about life since January.
