Langara Falcons 77
Capilano Blues 75
This game came right down to the wire with the Blues looking for the tying bucket with 2.1 seconds to go but both Kash Lang and Damein Coleman’s put back attempt came up short and the Falcons record an impressive road win.
The visitors had a nice night shooting the ball at 43% and had balanced scoring up and down the line-up. Edriel Asirit and Kadyn Brown shared the load with 19 points each, as the only two Falcons to hit the double figures plateau.
The Blue offence was also very good at 44% from the field with Lang collecting a game high 20 points and Ajaypal Hayer came off the bench for 15.
In the standings, the Falcons (9-10) have now won four of their last five and pull into a tie with the Blues for third place.
