Third year Royals basketball athlete Taylor Smith goes under the PACWEST Spotlight

Taylor Smith of the Douglas Royals enters his third year coming off a PACWEST silver medal last season.
As a sophomore last year he started 12 of 17 games he played in and shot 37% from the field and averaged 4.3 points a game. Defensively he collected 16 steals and even averaged 2.6 rebounds.
The Royals will be solid again at the guard position with Smith playing alongside Courtney Anderson and Josiah Mastandrea. Either of them has the ability to catch fire from the field at any moment making it difficult on their opponents.
