A new era begins at Camosun as Doug Hastie takes over as the head coach

The Camosun Chargers are set to tee–off the new PACWEST season this weekend.

The Chargers men’s team always seem to be contending for PACWEST gold and this season shouldn’t be all that different. The main change the Chargers went through this off season was finding a head coach, enter Doug Hastie.

He comes to Camosun highly decorated as a Class “A” member of the PGA of Canada and just two years ago was named the Vancouver Island Class “A” Professional of the Year.

He talks with Ryan Watters about the team he inherits and who he expects to lead his club in 2018.
