Royals Meet Chargers in Semis
The Douglas Royals face the Camosun Chargers in a semi-final

The first of four semi-finals at the PACWEST volleyball championship will be on the women’s bracket when the Royals and Chargers meet on Friday afternoon. The winner plays for PACWEST gold and will win a berth at the CCAA national championship tournament in PEI.
During the regular season the Royals won all three meetings in the seasonal series with a pair of sweeps and a four-set victory. They last met on February 6th at Douglas when the Royals claimed the three-set sweep. The Royals finished second and earned a bye into the semis, while the Chargers had to battle the CBC Bearcats on Thursday in a quarterfinal and won in three tough sets.
These two teams last met in a 2019 semi that the Royals won in four sets and went onto win a silver.
