The Camosun Chargers meet the Langara Falcons in the final game of the season for both teams

The men’s bronze medal game will tip off on Saturday afternoon when the Chargers and Falcons meet in one of the hardest games to play in sports.
It was a disappointment for the Chargers on Friday losing their semi-final tilt with the Capilano Blues 82-74. They actually shot better than the Blues connecting on 41.3% of their shots and had six players score at least 10 points as they spread the ball around. However they found it difficult to solve the Blues defensive scheme which was their downfall.
Speaking of disappointment the Falcons had the top team in the country, the VIU Mariners on the ropes in their semi-final but ran out of gas in the fourth quarter and gave up a lead. They shot 37.8% from the field and 40% from the three-point line losing 98-80, a score that does not truly represent how close that game was.
During the regular season these two teams met three times with the Chargers winning all three but by an average of just eight points. The Chargers shot 33.1% from the field with rookie Jaime Palamos Molins averaging 14.6 points each game. The Falcons would answer shooting 36.7% and Royce Sargeant tallied 19.6 a game.
