PACWEST MBB Bronze Medal - Chargers v. Coyotes
It's the first playoff meeting between these two and a PACWEST bronze medal is on the line
#4 Camosun Chargers vs. #3 Okanagan Coyotes - Saturday February 29, 3:00pm | WATCH HERE
After a pair of hard fought semi-finals the Coyotes and Chargers find themselves in today’s bronze medal game. The Chargers are the defending bronze medalists, while the Coyotes are trying for their first ever PACWEST medal.
The third seeded Coyotes pushed the defending CCAA national champion VIU Mariners to the brink yesterday losing by just eight points. It was the second game in this tournament that the Coyotes used a strong second half to put them in a position to win. They beat the Capilano Blues in the quarterfinal.
The Chargers have a quick turnaround after losing in last night’s semi to the top ranked Douglas Royals in a very physical game. On Thursday they used a strong fourth quarter to come back to beat the Langara Falcons, so how much do they have left in the tank in their third game in three days?
During the regular season the Coyotes won all three meetings including sweeping their weekend at Camosun earlier this month. This is their first playoff meeting in PACWEST history.
