PACWEST Basketball Championship

The 2020 basketball PACWEST Championship tournament is set to go beginning on Thursday February 27 on the campus of Capilano University for the first time since 2016. The six team tournament gives the top two seeds a bye into the semi-finals which are scheduled for Friday. Then Saturday the medal games will take place with the winner punching their ticket to the National Championship.

On the women's side the CCAA national final stays close to home hosted by the VIU Mariners so the PACWEST will get two representatives in the tournament. If the Mariners make the PACWEST gold medal game the team that they are playing will automatically get a berth in the nationals.

On the men's side the PACWEST champion will head to Ontario for the national championship tournament hosted by Humber College in Toronto.

The championship tournament runs from Thursday February 27 – Saturday February 29. Games from both men and women will begin each day at 12:30pm and be broadcasted HERE. (same link for women's and men's games).
