Female Volleyball Athlete of the Week
Miranda Cyr – Douglas Royals
The first year libero stepped into the second week of PACWEST action and put together solid back to back performances against the Camosun Chargers. From the weekend, she averaged a 2.3 passing average & finished with 27 digs and six assists plus gathered a kill with her steady & stable play.
Male Volleyball Athlete of the Week
Mark Armstrong – COTR Avalanche
The rookie setter ran a high-powered and efficient offense leading the Avalanche to a pair of wins over UFV this past weekend. He had an incredible 98 assists, 18 digs, four kills, and two blocks in their five set victories.
