Where Are They Now Wednesday: Pepper
You can call her "Dr. Pepper"
The COTR Avalanche women’s volleyball team was lucky enough to have Allison Pepper suit up for them during two different stints and four PACWEST seasons in total.
Her first patrol with the Avs was from 2008-2010 where she made the PACWEST leaderboard as a rookie collecting 19 service aces and 131 digs. The following season she added another 125 digs to her resume.
Following her second season Pepper left the Avs to her pursue her education, however the volleyball bug was too strong and she was bitten again from 2013-2015 as she returned. Upon her return however the coaching staff had decided to move her from the leftside to the middle, which meant a learning curve but she was up to the challenge in the preseason. In her first season back she tallied 47 blocks and 137 points of total offence in her new position. That year of experience proved valuable for Pepper because in the next year she became a force with 114 kills, 73 blocks and 22 aces, good for 209 total points of offence. She also helped the Avs to the PACWEST bronze medal match.
Once her PACWEST eligibility ended Pepper decided to stay in Cranbrook and now can be called Dr. Pepper. She talks about that with Ryan Watters in this PACWEST Where are they Now?
