The UFV Cascades enter the semester break sitting in third place of the PACWEST standings, two points back of the Camosun Chargers for second place.

A major reason for the success of the Cascades in the first half of the season is the play of their front court aided by second year player Kristen McBride. She has had an excellent season thus far under new head coach Janelle Rozema.
