PACWEST Spotlight: Julia Peyton
The second year student athlete Julia Peyton of the Capilano Blues talks about a very strong start to the season
Coming into the Thanksgiving break the Capilano Blues women’s soccer team remains undefeated through five games this season sitting with a 4-0-1 record. They have been a very balanced team so far with 15 goals for and only five against.
Their backend of the pitch has been very solid led by second year student athlete and co-captain Julia Peyton. She was a rookie in 2019 when the Blues won a PACWEST silver medal which has fuelled her desire this season along with the other returning players.
Julia joins Ryan Watters under the PACWEST Spotlight to recap the season so far and look ahead to after the Thanksgiving long weekend. With only four games left in the regular season the Blues will host the VIU Mariners on Saturday October 16th when play resumes.
