The PACWEST is pleased to announce the Soccer Athletes of the Week following an thrilling Week 3 of the regular season.

Women’s Soccer Athlete of the Week
Giulia Repole – Langara Falcons

She scored all three Falcons goals this weekend demonstrating exemplary work ethic both defensively and offensively. Always posing a threat, Repole fearlessly attacked the goal. She unleashed her speed, and technical ability to turn/dribble at players, and finish from both near and far distances. She kept her composure both in breakaways, 1v1s, and when given space in the midfield and was able to capitalize in all three situations for her goals. She battled through 180 minutes in various positions, consistently fought to win the ball for her team, and was a clear leader on the field.

Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week
Sam MacDonald – Quest Kermodes

MacDonald is having a great season, but displayed an exceptional performance in Saturday’s 1-0 win over the Douglas Royals. He made nine huge saves during the game which were key contributing factors to the Kermodes’ win as he collected his second shutout of the season.
