PACWEST Impact Athletes: Quest Kermodes
Zack Roberts-Winter and Kelsey Green will lead the Quest Kermodes into the 2017 season
The Quest Kermodes will open the new PACWEST soccer season on Wednesday with a home date against the Capilano Blues. The Kermodes will host the provincial championship at the end of October and they are hoping their impact athletes can make a difference in 2017.
On the women’s side Kelsey Green is expected to be an impact athlete now entering her third season. As a rookie two years ago she was outstanding scoring a pair of goals and winning the PACWEST Rookie of the Year honours.
Last season she doubled her offensive output scoring four times and had a string of scoring in three consecutive games.
The Kermodes are hoping the pattern continues and she’ll be a major force this season especially after missing the provincial championship last year.
Over on the men’s side Zack Roberts-Winter returns after a season off and is expected to be a strong impact athlete this season.
Now entering his fourth year, he will bring veteran leadership to the Kermodes who are looking to build off their PACWEST bronze medal from a year ago.
Wednesday September 6th the women Kermodes will open the season at 5:30pm at home, while the men will follow around 8:00pm against the two-time defending PACWEST champion Capilano Blues.
