PACWEST Spotlight: Jordan Kemper
Jordan was named the PACWEST championship tournament MVP
The Okanagan Coyotes are heading to their first ever CCAA national championship tournament this weekend after winning the PACWEST title.
The Coyotes won three games in three days at the PACWEST championship to punch their ticket to nationals which will be held in Nanaimo at VIU this weekend. Their first win at the championship was actually the program’s first ever playoff victory.
One of the key pieces of the Coyotes gold medal was the play of Jordan Kemper. She was named the tournament MVP after a game high 20 points in the gold medal game and knocked down some crucial three-pointers along the way.
This Friday the Coyotes will meet the three-time champions from the Atlantic Conference the MSVU Mystics at 3:00pm. The Mystics finished 9-2 beating St. Thomas in the Conference final 72-67.
Jordan talks with Ryan Watters under the PACWEST Spotlight as she prepares for the national championship tournament.
