Three games take centre stage for women's basketball on Saturday

The Chargers and Blues meet for the second time in as many days after the Chargers comeback win on Friday. They outscored the home side 23-17 in the final quarter to win their fifth game of the season. The Chargers played a gitty road game shooting 34% from the field and their top players were indeed their best two. Madyson Hautz had a team high 24 points while guard Chelsea Espenberg dumped in 23. In all, the dynamic duo scored 47 of the Chargers 70 points. Maddison Manns meanwhile ripped down 17 rebounds.
The Blues will look to rebound on Saturday afternoon after dropping their third straight ball game. On Friday Jenna Griffin came off the bench for a game high 26 points. Meagan Briggs was also solid with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The Blues drop to 3-3 on the season.
VIU Mariners @ CBC Bearcats - Saturday November 27, 1:00pm | WATCH HERE
Friday the Mariners' train kept rolling down the track in a lopsided 90-44 victory at CBC. The Mariners outscored the home side 29-7 in the first quarter and didn’t look back shooting 41% in the ball game. Every player on the roster scored on Friday led by Amber Lease and her 13 points, while reigning PACWEST Athlete of the Week Chloe Scaber tallied 12.
Ryann Lee again led the Bearcats and really carried the load scoring 29 of their 44 points sinking nine-three pointers.
