The Chargers and Blues add to their win total

The Chargers outscored the Falcons 13-6 in the final quarter and scored the victory on Friday night shooting just 29%.
Their offence was led by Tessa Lannon-Paakspuu who had an incredible 32 points including hitting 15 of 17 from the free-throw line. She also tallied 11 rebounds. Mia Roberts was also solid with 11 points and played excellent defence.
The Falcons shot 34% overall but when ice cold in the final quarter. Their offence was led by Breanne Homeniuk and her 16 points while Alexa Leyne hit three-three pointers and finished with 15 points.
They will finish off their weekend set on Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm.
Capilano Blues 68
Douglas Royals 45
The Blues shot 41% from the field and tallied their fourth win of the season. Offensively they were led by Reiko Ohama and her game high 25 points. Mackenzie Smith chipped in with 12 points and Alexia Brutto dropped in eight points and grabbed eight rebounds.
The Royals offence struggled shooting 28% from the field with Rachel Beauchamp the only player hitting the double-digit mark with 18 points and eight boards. Sydney Fraess dropped in eight points and had five rebounds.
These two teams will battle again on Saturday at 5:00pm.
